1. Backup the entire website.

1. Log into cPanel.
2. In the search box in your cPanel, type “Backup” – without the quotes of course.
3. In the Files section, click on the Backup icon.
4. From the page that appears, under Full Backup section, click on Generate/ Download a Full Website Backup.
5. On the next page, select the Home Directory option from the Backup Destination drop-down menu.
6. Email Address textbox allows you to specify the email address you wish to use to receive a notification on completion.
7. “Do not send email notification of backup completion.” Lets you specify whether you want to receive a notification on backup completion.
8. Click on Generate Backup.

2. Backup and restore home directory Only.

1. Once you have logged into your cPanel, locate and click on Backup as described above.
2. Navigate to Partial Backups section.
3. Click on Home Directory button.
4. Your browser should prompt that a new file file will be downloaded.
5. Click Yes/Ok.
6. Wait for the download to complete.

1. Under Partial Backups section, locate “Restore a Home Directory Backup”
2. Click on Browse button to select a backup file from your computer.
3. Click on Upload and wait for the upload to finish.

1. Under Partial Backups section, locate “Download a Mysql Database Backup.”
2. All your website’s databases will be listed.
3. Click on the database you wish to backup and your browser should launch a download.

1. Under Partial Backups section, locate and click on “Download to Backup Email Forwarders.”
2. Your domain and all its subdomains will be should be listed here.
3. Click on the domain or subdomain you want to do a backup for.
4. Your browser should automatically start a download.

How to restore Email Forwarders.

1. Under Partial Backups section, locate “Restore Email Forwarders.”
2. Click on Browse button to select a backed up file from your computer
3. Click on Upload button
4. Wait until the restoration finishes.
