Below are steps to follow on how to register .co.ke domain. In this procedure we’re going to register the domain myblog.co.ke

1. First, visit shujaahost.co.ke/domain_registration
2. Second, type your domain name but do not include the extension. In this case you’ll enter myblog [Take note of the .co.ke part. I have left it out]
3. Next, select .co.ke under extension drop down.
4. Click on SEARCH button.
5. Give the system a few seconds to respond to your search.
6. If your domain is available, the system will display a message “Congratulations, myblog.co.ke is available”
7. Next, click on Add to cart button.
8. Next, specify if you need to purchase hosting for your domain. If you want to host it with Shujaa Host, right now then click on the button that says “Yes add hosting with Free SSL Certificate”. Otherwise, click on the button that says “No thank you, I just want to buy a domain”
9. I’m assuming that you, you picked the second option. If you picked the first option, then select a package that you need.
10. Either way, the system will take you to the review screen. On this page, check and verify that your selections are correct.
11. If everything is fine, click on Checkout button.
12. On the checkout page that opens, fill in your registration details if you’re a new client then click on Complete order. If you’re an existing client, click on Already registered? button and log in with your client area credentials.
13. Lastly, the system will take you to a payments page with instructions on how to pay for your order. Go ahead and complete your payment to get your domain registered.

What is Domain Propagation? Domain propagation, also sometimes called DNS propagation, is the process of updating every server across the web with new information.

For .co.ke domain names, propagation time runs between 30 minutes and 48 hours.

During this time, you can upload your website’s files. Once the propagation is complete, your website goes live.
