1. Start by logging into your cPanel.
2. Scroll down to DATABASES section then click on phpMyAdmin.
3. From the left navigation tree in phpMyAdmin select database with table that you wish to rename.
4. Click the table that you want to rename.
5. Click the Operations tab at the top.
6. Locate Table options section, and in the Rename table to field, type the new table name.

You now know how to rename tables in phpMyAdmin. Renaming tables doe not delete or modify your data thus nothing to worry about.
