In this guide we will talk about how to install WordPress using Softaculous Auto Installer.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Softaculous is a commercial script library that automates the installation of commercial and open source web applications to a website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have a hosting account at Shujaa Host, chances are you have already come across Softaculous in your control panel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to install WordPress using Softaculous Auto Installer.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. First, you start by logging into your control panel. So log into your control panel<\/strong><\/a> if you’re not logged in yet.<\/li>
  2. In your control panel, scroll down to Extra Features <\/strong>section then click on Softaculout Auto Installer<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. On the next page, locate WordPress <\/strong>and click on Install <\/strong>button under it.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
      1. On the next page, under “Choose Installation URL”, set “Choose Protocol” to https.<\/li>
      2. In the Choose Domain field<\/strong>, select your domain or subdomain that you want to use.<\/li>
      3. In the In Directory Field<\/strong>, delete the default value and leave it empty. The default value is set to wp. Only enter a value in this field if you intend to install your WordPress in a sub-directory.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Scroll down to Site Settings<\/strong> section. Type your Site Name & Site Description. You can always change this information after the installation is complete.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. Under Admin Account <\/strong>section, fill in your preferred WordPress Admin Username<\/strong>, Password <\/strong>& Email<\/strong> address<\/strong>. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Security Tip:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Always replace the default username with your own & type a strong password. A strong password should at least be 8 characters long, contain both uppercase & lowercase letters, numbers & special characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
