DirectAdmin <\/strong>is a graphical web-based web hosting control panel designed to make administration of websites easier. In this guide, we will show you how to upload files using File Manager in DirectAdmin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two ways to upload files in DirectAdmin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Uploading Files using file manager.<\/li>
  2. Uploading files using FTP client.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    This guide will illustrate how to upload files in DirectAdmin using File Manager<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This guide assumes that you’re already logged into your DirectAdmin account. If you’re not, please read on how to log into DirectAdmin<\/a><\/strong> at Shujaa Host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log into<\/a> your DirectAdmin <\/strong>panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. In the Navigation Filter field, type File Manager<\/strong>. You can also scroll down to System Info & Files <\/strong>Section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Click on File Manager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Once File Manager <\/strong>has opened, click on public_html as shown below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. You’ll find a file names index.html<\/strong> inside public_html,<\/strong> delete this file as it is the default file that came with your account. To delete the file, right-click on it then click on Remove<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Click on New <\/strong>at the top left corner of your File Manager <\/strong>as shown below then select Upload<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. Next, drag and drop your website’s files as shown in the screenshot below then click on Upload <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8. Wait for the upload process to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note:<\/strong> It is advisable to zip all your website’s files into a single file then upload it so that you do not have to upload one file at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
